LUT offers tuition fee scholarships based on academic excellence to support the studies of international degree students at our university. The tuition fee scholarship covers the tuition fee.
LUT also offers full scholarships based on academic excellence and need for financial aid to support the studies of degree students at our university. The full scholarship covers the tuition fee and living expenses. Please note that there is a very limited number of full scholarships available to LUT's students.

Average cost of living
Students have to pay for their books and other materials, plus their accommodation and living expenses. Individual’s average total monthly living expenses amount to approximately EUR 700. The cost of living in Finland is about the same as in other EU countries. Remember that a student card enables you to get meals and other services at student prices wherever you are studying, along with reductions in the cost of e.g. transport, museums and various cultural events and recreational activities. Do not forget personal and leisure expenses. There are many things to see and to do in Finland, and you may also want to visit the neighbouring countries during your stay.
