The international community of LUT

International

LUT is an international university, with a strategic focus on further expanding its international activities. Fourteen per cent of degree students who began their studies in Autumn 2010 are international, representing 47 different nationalities.

LUT was placed first in the International Student Barometer survey among university students from outside Finland, specifically in overall satisfaction both in Finland and internationally. Approximately 125,000 international students in 186 universities took part in the survey. LUT is praised by students for its high-quality teaching, fine learning environment, nature and flexible programmes. Read more.
