Required Enclosures 


Submit the following documents to University Admissions Finland:

  1. The application form, duly completed and signed
  2. A copy of your Bachelor’s degree certificate or Diploma from an institution of higher education, together with an official Finnish, English or Swedish translation if necessary
  3. A Transcript of Records or Grade Report, including an explanation of the grading system of the institution in question, together with an official Finnish, English or Swedish translation if necessary
  4. An English-language test result (TOEFL iBT 80/PBT 550, IELTS 6.0, Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English or Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English, grade A, B or C)
  5. A separate letter and relevant certificates attesting your international competence
  6. A copy of the ID page in your passport
  7. CV

Documents may be submitted in Finnish, Swedish or English. Please note! Only copies that are officially certified by the granting institution or a notary public will be considered. This also applies to Finnish applicants.

Prepare yourself also to write the following information to your application:

  1. A  list of earlier relevant studies and credits obtained in the fields of marketing or international business (minimum 24 ECTS credits)
  2. A list of previous business studies according to discipline ( applicants with a foreign university degree: minimum 80 ECTS credits)

Authentication

All translations of the required documents must be the work of official translators or an authorised official of the institution that issued the original document. The translations must bear the stamp and signature of the translator. Please note that you must also send an officially certified copy of the translated document in the original language. All copies of degree certificates and diplomas, transcripts and grade reports, and language-proficiency documents must be officially certified either by the institution that issued the original document or a notary public. The authenticity of all documents submitted to LUT will be verified and the submission of forged documents will lead to the automatic rejection of the application.

Language Test Results

All language-test results must be sent directly from the testing centre to University Admissions Finland by the application deadline. It is the applicant’s responsibility to make his or her own testing arrangements. If you are taking a TOEFL test, please fill in University Admissions Finland’s Institution Code 3138 in the Score Report Recipient field on the Registration Form. In the case of IELTS, please ensure that the test results are addressed to University Admissions Finland (section 24 of the Application Form, Institution Applications).

Degree Certificates

Applicants who are still studying and will graduate after the application deadline must submit either an official statement from their home institution giving the expected date of graduation or an officially certified copy of a temporary degree certificate to University Admissions Finland during the application period. Submission

Your Application Form number is printed on the top right-hand corner of the form you print out. Please make sure the number appears on all of your documents. Send the application and required enclosures to:

All the required documents must be mailed via regular (air) mail or sent through an international courier service (Fed-Ex, UPS, TNT, DHL or similar) to University Admissions Finland. E-mailed or faxed documents will not be accepted. If you use a courier service, please also give the telephone number of University Admissions Finland: +358 9 191 23528.

The application form and the enclosures will not be returned to the applicant after processing.

Students who are accepted are required to present the original documents when they arrive at the University. If it is revealed that false information has been provided, the right to study will be revoked.
