International internships
All MITIM students participate in internships in international companies after their first year of studies. Companies cooperating with the MITIM program will be offered trainees every year, and the companies will also receive the CV’s of all of the students looking for an internship. The length of the internship is at least 6 weeks, and it can be carried out from the beginning of June until the end of August. Companies cooperating with the MITIM program may request the CVs of the students looking for an intership.
Consulting Project
Teams of four to six Master’s degree students with an academic advisor (LUT faculty) act as consulting teams that tackle real-life business problems of MITIM business cooperation companies.
Master’s Thesis
The Master’s thesis is the final project of the Master’s degree studies. The thesis is a research project which demonstrates the student’s knowledge of a scientifically or societally important topic related to the student’s professional field. MITIM theses are mainly written for international companies and are prepared during the final year of studies.
Business Seminars
The MITIM program organizes a business seminar for its business cooperation companies every year. The topic of the seminars is business practice and research cooperation. The seminars aim to connect business people, MITIM students and academic professionals promoting their networking. Each seminar has a highly recognized keynote speaker and speakers from all participating groups.
MITIM Student CV bank
The program maintains a CV bank of current MITIM students. Business cooperation companies may request CVs of MITIM stduents as candidates for internships or Master's Thesis.
