Master's Thesis Instructions 


The Master's thesis is the final project of the Master's degree studies. It demonstrates the student's
knowledge of a scientifically or societally important topic related to his or her professional field. The
Master’s thesis is a research project which requires approximately six months of work and it is worth
30 ECTS credits.

The Master’s thesis is related to the student’s major subject and its topic is agreed on by the
supervisor and the student together. In the Master’s thesis, the student must demonstrate the ability
to carry out the project independently and to follow a plan.

Before starting their thesis, students must read the related instructions given by the vice-rector in
charge of education. The dean of the faculty approves and grades the final thesis. The Master’s thesis in business is evaluated on the scale laudatur, eximia cum laude, approbatur, magna cum laude approbatur, cum laude approbatur, non sine laude approbatur, lubenter approbatur, approbatur, improbatur (failed).
