This workshop is an initiative aiming at creation of new possibilities for scientific and industrial cooperation between the Finnish and Russian institutions and companies.
The objective of the 2008 CST workshop“Separation and Waste Water Treatment Techniques in Chemical and Mining Industries. Finnish – Russian Cross-border Seminar” is:
- to provide a discussion forum for the exchange of the information and opinions related to the research and pracital application of models, tools and devices used in separation processes in mining and chemical industries,
- to offer an opportunity for Finnish and Russian researchers and practitioners to present the results of their recent work,
- to encourage cooperation between the representatives of Finnish academia and industry and their Russian counterpartners in the respective fields,
- to promote the development of common education-related initiatives aimed at Finnish and Russian students.
