EU-project: "Development of CST to a centre of excellency"  


This project will significally enhance the research and education facilities of Centre for Separation Technology by purhasing new, modern research equipment for a total of 1 million €. These equipment enable to diversify the research to new areas.

Equipment purchased

  • Inductively coupled plasma-spectrometer (Thermo Elemental IRIS Intrepid II XDL Duo)
  • Membrane pilot system (GEA Filtration - Model U)
  • Confocal-Raman spectrometer (Yvon/Jobin LabRAM 300)
  • Thermal analysis equipment (Netzsch DSC 204 F1 Phoenix and STA C/4/MFC/G Jupiter)
  • Quadrupole mass spectrometer (Netzsch QMS 403 C Aëlos)
  • Fiber analyser (Lorentzen & Wettre Fibertester)
  • Equipment for measuring local mass transfer, PIV/LIF (LaVision FlowMaster)
