The Language Centre offers flexible, low-cost translation and revision services to LUT faculties and institutes. The aim is to provide staff members with easy access to specialised international communication services.
Our translator Tiina Kauranen has up-to-date translation technology at her disposal, and she is no stranger to our university, its administration and fields of specialisation.
Our services include translation and revision of e.g. PR material and communications, brochures, online material, manuals, forms, reports, scientific papers and dissertations. Schedules, delivery, invoicing and other details are agreed on depending on the case.

Let the translator know what the text will be used for and who will read it. The purpose of the text, the publication medium and the target group may affect the translation, expressions, terminology, etc.
The translator welcomes all figures and tables related to the text, as well as previous translations, texts and glossaries involving the topic area. Parallel material makes the translator’s work easier: less time needs to be spent on background research and reliable terminology sources are readily at hand.
