The library catalog of Lappeenranta Academic Library is called Wilma. The Wilma catalog as well as the publications catalog of LUT staff are freely accessible even from outside the local network.
The online databases available for customers offer references and full texts in the LUT and SUAS fields of science. These databases are accessible via the Nelli portals of both core organizations. Local users use the computers in the local network. LUT staff and students have remote access to the databases by using the VPN system and access the LUT Nelli portal via this service. SUAS staff and students access the databases remotely by logging into the SUAS Nelli portal. More SUAS databases available for remote use can be found here. In case there is a request to accept a certificate, it is safe to do so. Signing in is performed by using the SUAS ID and password.
Customers who are not memberst of LUT/SUAS staff or students can access databases in the library. Nearly all of the databases have been acquired by joining the consortia of the National Electronic Library of Finland FinELib.
INFORMATION RETRIEVAL PORTALS
Nelli is the information retrieval portal of both LUT and SUAS. Both organizations have their own Nelli portals. In Nelli, there are lists of databases and e-journals available for members of the organization. The lejournals and databases are accessed via the links in theisr names.
