Origo comprises the customer facilities of the Library and the Learning Centre. It is located in the university’s 1st and 7th buildings and forms actually one continuous space.
Origo offers LUT university students and personnel a studying and working environment strengthened by consultancy. Origo is supplied with up-to-date equipment and software suitable for web-based learning and individual study, retrieving and processing information, and using electronic student services. It is also possible to borrow electronic devices from Origo (LUT students and staff only).
Origo helpdesk is staffed by at least one person on duty. The staff will do their best to help with any problems and questions – e.g. problems with LUT id's and passwords, information searching, how to use the available software etc. The helpdesk staff also supervises exams taken in the exam aquarium. Services are provided by the library, language centre, and IT services.
