Lappeenranta Academic Library serves LUT and SUAS staff and students in their information needs but the library is also open to the public. The students use the student card as the library card. Other customers receive a special library card.
Items may be borrowed either at the lending desk or by using the self-service lending machine. The loan period for text books and theses is two weeks, and for other items four weeks. The library charges a fine if loans are returned or renewed late. Journals may not be borrowed.
Items on loan may be reserved. A loan can be renewed if there are no reservations for it. Loans can be renewed at the lending desk, online in the Wilma database or by e-mail: lainaus(a)lut.fi
