Society needs experts who are capable of producing science-based solutions. Science provides the foundation for decision-making, innovation, and sustainable development. This requires doctoral researchers who understand both the details and the broader impacts.
Like Finns, I also tend to be straightforward and serious. I can relate to the attitude: keep your head down, do your work and drink a lot of coffee.

Apply to English-language bachelor's programmes
Apply to English-language bachelor’s programmes through rolling admission until 30 April 2025. Students who have completed or are close to completing their degree outside of Finland can apply. Those who apply from outside the EU/EEA countries do not need to pay an application fee in this ongoing rolling admission.
