Learn Finnish on your own 


Would you like to start learning Finnish? LUT’s Language Centre arranges basic Finnish courses for international students every Autumn and Spring semester. There are also several self-access websites that offer Finnish courses and provide learning material. Learning Finnish will help you understand Finnish people and culture, and help you in various everyday situations you encounter while living in Finland.

Uuno

Uuno is a language learning resource, primarily intended to teach foreign exchange students about the Finnish language and Finnish culture before they come to Finland. Uuno provides a non-demanding and entertaining introduction to the Finnish grammar.

Easyfinnish

Want to learn some Finnish or practise what you already know? Easyfinnish is an elementary online course aimed at anyone interested in learning Finnish. Perform exercises, listen to audios, play games, converse with others or test your skills.
