All Bachelor programmes at LUT are taught in Finnish. LUT offers eight degree programmes leading to Bachelor of Science degrees.
The length of the Bachelor degree programmes is 6 semesters, which corresponds to 180 ECTS credits. After completing the Bachelor degree in Finnish, you are entitled to proceed to Master’s degree programmes. Master’s programmes are 4 semesters, which correspond to 120 ECTS credits.

Students wishing to study in Bachelor programmes have to be fluent in Finnish language prior to applying. LUT does not provide any preparation courses in Finnish language for international applicants. The short-term courses in Finnish language are meant to students already enrolled in the Master’s degree programmes in English or for international exchange students at LUT.
