University chaplains offer both religious and non-religious services. You can also meet the chaplains whenever you need someone to talk to. Their doors are open for everyone, regardless of religious conviction.

Want to try out Spanish food? Or maybe Chinese? And you have probably never tried Finnish food. Ever wondered what other kind of traditions these countries have? Then why not attend the International Evenings where you can meet friends, have a fun evening and enjoy a very reasonably priced dinner (approx EUR 1).
OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES
Did you know that LUT is situated next to Europe’s fourth biggest lake, Saimaa? So why not enjoy the lake scenery and try your hand at canoeing or church boat rowing by taking part in International Saimaa Day, or take the plunge and dip into a frozen lake on the Winter Outdoor Day. Or if you want to let off a bit of steam, you could always try paintball or the many forest activities on offer!
