Registration for examinations 



Examination dates are shown on the university website. The registration period starts four weeks before the exam and ends one week before the exam. You can cancel your registration two working days (Saturday and Sunday are not considered working days) before the exam. Exams are held four times a year for each course. Students can take part in two of those four exam times.

You can register for examinations through WebOodi. If WebOodi is unavailable, you can register by e-mail at opinto@lut.fi, by telephone, or by visiting the Student Affairs Office (near the main lobby). In order to be eligible to register to exam, you must have a valid study right and an enrolment for the current semester or academic year. Exchange students studying in the autumn semester only are not eligible to participate in the exams held during spring semester.

It is not possible to register after the deadline through WebOodi. If you want to register after the registration deadline, you must visit the Student Affairs Office and pay the fee of EUR 5 for late registration. You can do this until the day before the exam. If you are unable to visit the Student Affairs Office, you can go to the examination room and notify the supervisor that you have not registered in advance. You will only be able to take the exam if a place and an exam paper are available for you. This option costs EUR 20. You will receive an invoice from the Student Affairs Office after the exam. Your exam grade will not be recorded in the study register until you have paid the fee.

Please remember to cancel your registration to the exam latest 2 working days before the exam if you do not take the exam. Each registration is considered an exam taken.
