Examinations

There are four examination dates for each course during the academic year; for example two exams during the Autumn semester and two exams in the Spring semester. The student may take part in two of the four exam sessions (LUT regulations on education and completion of studies).

Exams are held from Mondays to Thursdays at 16.15 throughout the academic year. Examination weeks or days are also held during the Autumn semester (in August, October and December) and the Spring semester (in January, March and May). During the exam weeks exams are held every weekday in both the morning (starting at 8.30) and in the afternoon (starting at 16.15). Language exams are held at 12-16. Students can only take one exam at a time, but may take one exam in the morning and one in the afternoon and a language exam at noon.

In order to participate in an examination, you must register through WebOodi. You must register separately for each exam. Registering for courses is not the same as registering for examinations!

You can look at old exam questions in the exam archive maintained by the Student Union.
