Rooms and resevations
Origo’s group workroom reservation policy
- Only one valid reservation per person
- Group workrooms are available for three hours at a time
- Reservations are made with the student’s full name
- You have to return the key of the workroom half an hour before the library is closed
- The keys to the workrooms are available at the Origo desk
- If you don’t pick up the key in the first half hour of your reservation your reservation is cancelled
- If you need a workroom for a longer period of time then contact: Marja Talikka
Library Basement group workrooms
- DOPPLER 1295-B (one computer, four person meeting table = five seats)
- EINSTEIN 1297 (one computer, four person meeting table = five seats)
- FARADAY 1298-A (one computer, four person meeting table = five seats)
- GALILEI 1298-C (one computer, four person meeting table = five seats)
- Rooms at the Basement are not in use during the summer 2011 (May-August)
7th section group workrooms
- ALFA 7434 (one computer, four person meeting table = five seats)
- BETA 7435 (two computers, four person meeting table = six seats)
- GAMMA 7436 (two computers, four person meeting table = six seats)
- DELTA 7437 (two computers, four person meeting table = six seats)
- TANGENTTI 7441 (21 students + teacher’s computer, video projector)
7th section computer classrooms
- COSINI 7430 (18 students +teacher’s computer, computers are equipped with headsets, 2 data canon, video conference equipment for teaching purposes / IP and ISDN connections, printer, document camera)
- SINI 7439 (17 students + teacher’s computer, 1 data cannon, computers are equipped with headsets, document camera)
- During the summer 2011 only Sini is in use!

Academic research room

- MOTIVAATIO 7433 (2-place thesis workroom)
24-hour reading room
- reading room is open 24/7 in the 7th section next to the exam aquarium
- workshop rooms Alfa, Beta, Gamma, and Delta are available for evening and weekend use. Please, contact the Origo helpdesk for reservations.
- computer classrooms Sini and Cosini are available for evening and weekend use == enter by using your grey magnetic key
- when library is closed the way to enter this area is: 3rd section main hall ==> Gallery-lobby ==> 7th section library next to the glasswall ==> into the 4th floor and towards the library and with the grey magnetic key and into the reading room
