The examination process of a doctoral dissertation officially starts when the manuscript of the dissertation and the application for permission to print the dissertation has been submitted to the Research and Innovation Services to the Student Affairs Secretary Eeva Häyrinen (room 1535). Before starting the official process it is recommended that the manuscript has been approved by the supervisor and, where applicable, the supervising group associate with the dissertation. The degree requirements must be approved by the Faculty Council before the examination process begins.
