Organisation 

Research and development in the Mikkeli Unit of Lappeenranta University of Technology consists of two separate fields: bioenergy technology and materials technology. The task of the unit is to serve the region of Etelä-Savo by producing high-quality technological expertise based on research and by developing and training local companies through this expertise.
