Forest

Finnish-Russian Forest Academy is a two-year preparation project coordinated by Lappeenranta University of Technology (LUT) aiming at strengthening the Finnish-Russian cooperation in the forest industry. The wishes and needs of the Finnish and Russian forest-sector actors are being examined during the project, and based on the analysis the parties to the programme will seek for suitable ways of strengthening research and education cooperation between the Finnish and Russian forest sectors.

Target groups of the project are universities, research institutions, enterprises, companies, authorities and other forest sector organizations which are interested in creating a joint forum for enhancing and coordinating cross border collaboration, actions and expertise in the forest sector.
