The geographic focus of NORDI’s research is on North-West Russia and the Baltic Sea region. The applied research reports in NORDI’s publication series provide knowledge for the purposes of industries, the public sector, and education. NORDI’s research projects have resulted in a number of publications for different industry sectors, e.g. studies on Russian economic development and industry clusters, transit traffic through Finland to Russia, and the automotive industry, software production and food industry in Russia.
