Personnel are the main asset of the company. Investing to the staff training and skills development companies improve their own competitiveness in the international markets.

Researching the training needs of the Finnish companies in the Russian market revealed that most of the surveyed Finnish companies don’t offer training related to doing business in Russia to their Finnish personnel. Companies prefer to hire persons who already have previous experience from the Russian market or make them learn from their own mistakes. The companies offer training mainly concerning the functions of the company.
