The Laboratory of Control Engineering and Digital Systems is responsible for the advanced studies in Embedded Systems, Industrial Automation and Communications Electronics that are included in the major subject of Industrial Electronics. In all the fields of special advanced studies, the students first acquire basic knowledge of industrial electronics, including analog and digital technology, electromagnetism, electrical drives, control engineering and digital signal processing. After these studies, the students specialize either in
- embedded systems by studying digital electronics, embedded system programming, digital control and signal processing,
- industrial automation by strengthening their knowledge and skills in control engineering and automation, information technology and informations systems technology, or
- communications electronics, in which case the students supplement thir basic studies with studies of digital data transmission, RF technology and implementation of data transmission systems.
