The Laboratory of Electrical Drives Technology focuses on the research and development of electrical machines and electric drives. We specialise in the applications of industrial electronics. Some of the recent themes for research are the direct torque control (DTC) of synchronous machines, application of real time operating systems in electric drives and new control methods of power conditioning systems.
