Research

The mechatronics research group conducts ground-breaking research on the design, simulation and control of mechatronic machines.

Research focuses on:

  • Specialised robotics, especially robots with parallel structures and flexible manipulators
  • Servo control systems
  • Modelling and simulation of mechatronics components and systems
  • Man-machine systems
  • Simulators for education, product development and entertainment

Research projects

Examples of research projects of the mechatronics research group:

Qualitative virtual design of machines

Statistical phenomena in the virtual design of machines

Psychomechatronic approach to the virtual design of machines

Integration of Visual and Tactile Sensing for Robots and Manipulators – TacVision
