Technical Physics 


The aim of the major subject Technical Physics is to prepare the student professionally and academically in physics and other technical science skills in industry and other research and development tasks.

The studies in Technical Physics concentrate on measurement technology, electricity and optical material physics, photonics and optoelectronics. The students are trained in the field of material physics and optics. Education and research focuses on semiconductors, spintronics and nanotechnology. The research activities in the specialization of optical physics include optical engineering, non-linear optics and spectroscopy, and colour theory and measurements.
