Industrial Electronics

Power electronics, embedded control systems, rotating electrical machines, new electricity distribution technologies and industrial maintenance systems compose the core of LUT’s industrial electronics research. The research is often applied to different energy systems and embedded power production.
The expertise we have brought to international collaboration projects in the energy sector has involved permanent magnet motors in wind power applications and large high-speed machines in petrochemical applications. Research on electricity distribution technologies based on direct current systems further expand our international collaboration network.
