Academic Master’s Degree Programme in Industrial Management – Global Management of Innovation and Technology invites applications from all international and Finnish students with a B.Sc. degree in engineering, technology, economics or business administration. The two-year programme leads to the degree of Master of Science (Tech). The language of instruction is English. English is widely spoken throughout Finland, making everyday life for international students coming to the country open and welcoming.
The quality of teaching in the Programme is high as professors and lecturers are internationally experienced and competent in their areas of expertise, which is important in today’s fast changing business environment.
Most of the students at the Department of Industrial Management write their Master's Thesis for companies. Already during the earlier study phases the students are in active collaboration with Finnish companies, specialised particularly in the high tech industrial fields. Close contacts to companies at the Master's thesis phase give students invaluable benefits for their future careers.

Graduated students from the Department of Industrial Management have been employed e.g. export managers, key account managers, logistic managers, controllers, analysts, business application specialists, operative purchasers, technology innovation managers etc. The studies give graduated students also a firm basis for doctoral studies in the field of industrial management.
DEPARTMENT OF INDUSTRIAL MANAGEMENT
The Department of Industrial Management at Lappeenranta University of Technology is the oldest Finnish unit in the field, as well as the largest research and training unit of its kind in the Nordic countries. The department has wide, well-established networks of connections in industrial research in Finland and abroad.
Bachelor’s degree (taught in Finnish) and the consecutive Master’s Degree Programme (taught partly in Finnish and partly in English) in Industrial Management are ASIIN e.V. –accredited degree programs. GMIT –programme utilizes courses which are part of the accredited Master's Degree Programme.
The quality label is certificate of high-quality engineering education, international recognition of the degrees and a guarantee of continuous development of education.
