In the Faculty of Technology Management there are two departments and two study programmes available: Information Technology and Industrial Management. Currently there are Masters’ and Doctors’ degree programmes offered in English, but no Bachelor level studies.
Master's Degree Programme in Industrial Management
New Master’s Degree Programme in Industrial Management – Global Management of Innovation and Technology will start in August 2010. The programme invites applications from both international and Finnish students with a B.Sc. degree in engineering, technology, economics or business administration. The two-year programme leads to the degree of Master of Science in Technology.
Masters’ Degree programme in Information Technology 
Master’s Degree Programme in Information Technology is a two-year programme for both Finnish and foreign students, who have a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent discipline. The programme is worth of 120 ECTS credits and includes coursework of 90 ECTS credits and a Master’s thesis of 30 ECTS credits, leading to a Master of Science in Technology degree.
Postgraduate Studies
Prospective postgraduate students are expected to have a M.Sc. degree before they are eligible to study for a licentiate or doctorate degree in the Department of Industrial Management (IM) or Information Technology (IT). An eligible student interested in postgraduate studies in either department should contact a professor of one of the department’s laboratories.
Exchange Students
The IBTM-programme – International Business and Technology Management – is a non-degree study programme for undergraduate exchange students. The programme focuses on international business, finance, technology management and emerging economies. For more information please visit the IBTM home pages.
