The meeting with the representatives of Lappeenranta University of Technology (LUT) – one of the best universities of Finland in different areas, including innovative research projects, was organized at PRUE. Vice rector for the international activity Minna Martikainen and research director of the Research Centre NORDI Ekaterina Novikova arrived in Moscow to discuss prospects of cooperation between two universities, mostly in research projects and development of the joint educational programs. PRUE rector, prof. Grishin V.I., as well as the vice rector for economics and international affairs Frolov Y.N., the vice rector for scientific and innovative affairs Shishkin A.V., the vice rector for academic affairs Bragin L.A. welcomed the guests and stressed the importance of the extension of cooperation with Finnish partners.
LUT has been a partner-university of PRUE since 2006. PRUE students every year have an opportunity to study at a prestigious Finnish university.
