YLEISTÄ JUHLASTA
Muista ottaa kutsu mukaan! Jäähallin ovet aukeavat ja buffettarjoilu alkaa noin klo 18. Ruokalippu ja kaksi juomalippua jaetaan jäähallin ovella. Jäähallin normaalit ruoka- ja juomamyyntipisteet avautuvat illan aikana.
Jäähallin sisäilman lämpötilaa korotetaan iltaa varten hieman normaalista mutta siellä saattaa silti erityisesti jään tasolla olla viileää. Rento ja kohtuullisen lämmin pukeutuminen toimii. Jos haluat jättää päällysvaatteet säilytykseen, niin tätä varten on varattu vaatesäilytystilaa.
Ennen ohjelman alkua ja toki myös ohjelman aikana on tilaisuus nauttia tarjoilusta ja seurustella muiden vieraiden kanssa. Ohjelman aikataulu on seuraava:

GENERAL INFORMATION
Remember to take your invitation with you! The ice stadium doors and the buffet will open at approximately 18.00. A buffet ticket and two drink tickets are issued at the door. The regular food and beverage stands at the ice stadium will also be open during the evening.
The internal temperature at the ice stadium will be raised a bit for the evening. Nevertheless, it might be slightly cool at the venue, especially on the ice. Comfortable and reasonably warm clothing is advisable. You may leave your outerwear in the cloakroom.
Before the program begins (and of course also during the program) you have the opportunity to enjoy the buffet and mingle with the other guests. The program is scheduled as follows:

Jatkot
Lappeenrannan teknillisen yliopiston ylioppilaskunta LTKY järjestää 40-vuotisjuhlien jatkot Nightclub Divassa ja Gigglin Marlinissa. Paluukuljetukset jäähallilta kulkevat Koulukadun kautta, joten jatkoille menossa olevat voivat jäädä siinä olevalla pysäkillä pois.
Jatkoille myydään ennakkolippuja 2 euroa/kappale LTKY:n toimesta yliopiston 1. rakennusvaiheen kolmannen kerroksen aulassa torstaina 26.3.2009 ja perjantaina 27.3.2009 klo 11.30-12.30. Ennakkoliput tulee vaihtaa jäähallilla rannekkeisiin, joita myydään myös illalla jäähallissa. Rannekkeilla pääse molempiin ravintoloihin ilmaiseksi jonon ohi sisään ja niillä saa alennuksia joistakin juomista.
Jatkojen jälkeen ravintoloista lähtee kolme paluubussia Skinnarilaan, klo 3.00 (Gigglin Marlinin edestä), klo 3.30 (Divan edestä) ja klo 4.00 (Gigglin Marlinin edestä).
After the festivities
The Student Union of Lappeenranta University of Technology (LTKY) will arrange parties at the Nightclub Diva and Gigglin Marlin (GM) to continue the 40th anniversary celebration. Return transportations from the ice stadium goes through Koulukatu, where you can leave the bus if you plan to go clubbing.
Advance tickets to the night clubs (2 euros) are sold by LTKY on the third floor of the university’s main building on Thursday, 26 March 2009, and Friday, 27 March 2009 at 11.30-12.20. Advance tickets must be exchanged for a wristband, which are also sold at the ice stadium on the evening of the festivities. The wristband provides you free entrance without queuing to Diva and GM and also discounts on some drinks.
After the festivities, bus transportation back to the university leaves at 03.00 (in front of GM), 03.30 (in front of Diva) and 04.00 (in front of GM).
YLEISTÄ KULJETUKSISTA
Yliopistolta lähteviä kuljetuksia varten on varattu 9 bussia, yhteen bussiin mahtuu 50 henkilöä. Kuljetusta yliopistolta oli ilmoittanut käyttävänsä 1 200 henkilöä, joten bussit ajavat kolme matkaa yliopistolta jäähallille ja jäähallilta yliopistolle. Henkilömäärä on aikamoinen, joten pyydämme mahdollisten odotusaikojen osalta kuljetusta käyttäviltä kärsivällisyyttä ja juhlamieltä.
Keskustasta lähteviä kuljetuksia varten on varattu 3 bussia. Kuljetusta oli ilmoittanut käyttävänsä noin 250 henkilöä. Bussit ajavat kaksi matkaa keskustasta jäähallille.

HUOM! Bussireitti noudattaa paikallisliikenteen linjan 1 reittiä mutta ei aja Huhtiniemen kautta. Yliopistolta lähtevä bussi ottaa matkustajia kyytiin Helsingintiellä Huhtiniemen leirintäalueen kohdalla olevalle pysäkille asti ja ajaa sitten suoraan jäähallille.

- kaikki bussit palaavat välittömästi jäähallilta takaisin Peltolan koululle. Koska matka on lyhyt, niin tarkempaa aikataulua ei ole määritelty.

GENERAL INFORMATION ON TRANSPORTATION
There are 9 buses reserved for transportation from the university. One bus has seats for about 50 passengers. Over 1 200 persons have informed that they will take the bus from the university. Thus the buses will make three journeys to the ice stadium and back. The number of people is quite high and therefore we ask that you be patient if delays occur.
There are 3 buses reserved for transportation from the Lappeenranta city centre. About 250 persons have informed that they will take the bus from the centre. The buses will make two journeys from centre to the ice Stadium.
Transportation from the university
Bus route: University – Linnunrata – Jupiterinkatu – Orioninkatu – Sammonlahdenkatu – Merenlahdentie – Helsingintie – Lappeenkatu – Valtakatu – Ice stadium
IMPORTANT! The bus route will follow the route of the local bus number 1, but will not drive through Huhtiniemi. The bus will pick up passengers on the Helsingintie bus stop close to the Huhtiniemi camping grounds and then drive directly to the ice stadium.
