The most satisfied international students in the world*
And you do not have to take just our word for it. Lappeenranta University of Technology came in first place in overall student satisfaction in an extensive international survey (ISB The Autumn 2010 wave)* in which foreign university students were asked about their satisfaction with the university.
Approximately 125,000 international students in as many as 188 universities took part in the survey. The participating countries were Finland, Sweden, Germany, the Netherlands, Ireland, Italy, Great Britain, Canada, the U.S.A, Hong Kong and Luxembourg. The survey was carried out by the international education consultancy company i-graduate. In Finland, the International Student Barometer survey was conducted at 23 universities during November and December 2010.
The students were asked about their satisfaction with the studies, accommodations and living, support services, and services linked their arrival at the university. In the end, the students were asked to give the university an overall grade. The goal of the survey was to examine whether the university meets the expectations of the students and whether the students were satisfied with their experience.
