Outi is a double degree PhD researcher at the School of Business and Management at Lappeenranta University of Technology (LUT), Finland and at the Graduate School of Business and Law at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT), Australia. Her dissertation focuses on investigating platforms as meta-organizations in the transition toward the circular economy. Her supervisors are Prof. Paavo Ritala (LUT) and Assoc. Prof. Joona Keränen (RMIT) with whom she prepares research articles to be published in the top journals in the field. She is an active student member of the Academy of Management’s (AoM) TIM and OMT groups; 2021 chosen to present her dissertation in the 81st annual meeting and attended the AoM mentoring program for young scholars. She is also a member of the Organizational Design Community.
