Sankar Karuppannan Gopalraj received his bachelor's degree (2011-2015) in Mechanical engineering from Anna University Chennai (India) majoring in mechanical design and thesis in composite technology (ceramic composites). Later, he received his Master's degree (2016-2018) from LUT University Lappeenranta (Finland) in Advance structural design specialising in FEM and Fatigue design. He is currently pursuing his doctoral studies at LUT University, Finland in the fibre composite laboratory. He is working in the field of recycling carbon fibre and glass fibre from waste/scarp/end-of-life composite materials and re-manufacture into selective applications to close the life cycle loop.
