How accessible this website is
The website of LUT University largely complies with accessibility requirements. The limitations of the site are listed below.
Development of content
We have observed that the following accessibility aspects may require some improvement:
- The text equivalents of some images, links and other elements are missing.
- The use of colours as the only visual tool in some link texts.
- The contrast of some elements falls short of the target level.
- The text size cannot be enlarged up to 200% without losing content and functionality.
- Content that is focused on.
- The usability of the menu with the keyboard.
- Skipping repetitive parts.
LUT University will be updating its entire website within a few years. Due to the upcoming overhaul, LUT University's current website does not fully comply with accessibility requirements. It is more practical to implement extensive improvements on the new site that is being planned.
Improvements to the accessibility to the existing website will be made depending on the investments and effort they require.
