Software engineering researchers earn Best paper awards

LUT researchers in software engineering have, together with their colleagues, recently earned two best paper awards. The article "Core Software Product Management Activities" earned an Emerald Literati Award 2018.  It was selected as the best paper in Journal of Advances in Management Research. The group of authors included Andrey Maglyas (LUT), Uolevi Nikula (LUT), Kari Smolander (LUT), and Samuel A. Fricker (Fachhochschule Nordewestschweiz, Windisch, Switzerland & Blekinge Institute of Technology, Karlskrona, Sweden).

The article "Suomi.fi: Towards Government 3.0 with a National Service Platform" reports a case study of the Suomi.fi platform within the concept of Government 3.0. The paper earned the Best paper award at the 17th International Conference on Electronic Government, EGOV 2018, Krems, Austria, 3-5 September 2018.
The group of authors were Jesse Yli-Huumo (Aalto University), Tero Päivärinta (Luleå University of Technology & University of Gothenburg), Juho Rinne (Aalto University) and Kari Smolander (LUT).
