Automation and Robotics Studies

Starting February 2021, LUT offers automation and robotics studies via LUT Open University. The studies consist of four study modules of altogether 99 credits. You can choose either one course or as many as you like, depending on your personal goal.

The studies are open for anyone interested in these topics, but Bachelor's level in Mechanical Engineering or related topics is a benefit. Sufficient knowledge and skills in English are required, because the teaching materials are mainly in English.

The studies are offered by ARIT project, funded by the Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture. The courses are free of charge.

Registration period to spring 2022 studies is now open and ends at December 12, 2021.

 

STUDIES OFFERED IN SPRING 2022

Three different specialization packages are offered in spring 2022. They deal with welding digitalization and automation, robotics and mechatronics and product engineering.

Specialization package 1. Welding Production and Metallurgy 25 cr

Specialization package 2. Robotics and Mechatronics 25 cr

Specialization package 3. Sustainable Manufacturing Processes and Digital Engineering 25 cr
