Managing research data

LUT commits to Open Science in the Action Plan for Research. LUT has a Research Data Policy completed.

The research data produced at Lappeenranta University of Technology is, as a rule, open and available for shared use. Several funders require a research data managing plan (DMP) as part of the applications.

LUT recommends public Open Science infrastructures to be used in depositing research publications, research data and research methods. LUT recommends that researchers use CSC (IT Centre for Science) research data services.

Open Science is included in the syllabus of LUT Doctoral School. Academic library guides researchers in Open Science activities and arranges training in cooperation with other researcher service units.
