Lahti - Continuing education - Main content
The body responsible for the organization and realization of continuing education in Lahti is the Centre of Training and Development of the Lappeenranta University of Technology.
The continuing education arranged in Lahti consists mainly of long continuing education programmes in economics (Kati programmes) and of expert-level economics and business administration programmes
Long continuing education programmes in economics
Long continuing education programmes for Bachelors of Business Administration last about three years for those who study while working. The studies completed in these programmes can be included as a part of the Master of Science (Economics and Business Administration) degree upon application. The next KATI 13 continuing education programme in management will be realized between 2012 and 2015.
Expert programmes, which are meant for experts in different fields in working life, are continuing education programmes lasting about a year and worth 20–30 study credits (ECTS). The programmes and their course modules can be used for degrees from the Lappeenranta University of Technology upon application.

Open University education offered by the Centre of Training and Development of the Lappeenranta University of Technology is organized in the Lahti region by the Summer University of Päijät-Häme.
