LUT scholars' work recognized by Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management
A research article co-authored by LUT School of Business and Management scholars Anne Quarshie and Asta Salmi (with Rudolf Leuschner, Rutgers University, USA), which appeared in Spring 2016 in the Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management, has received more downloads throughout 2016 than any other article published in that journal. The article, entitled "Sustainability and corporate social responsibility in supply chains: The state of research in supply chain management and business ethics journals," was recognized as the journal's Most Downloaded Article in 2016 at the 26th Annual Conference of the International Purchasing and Supply, Education and Research Association (IPSERA) conference in Hungary in April 2017. The article was downloaded over 6900 times on ScienceDirect during 2016. The article was additionally nominated as a finalist for the journal's Best Paper Award 2016 at the conference. In addition, LUT researchers were recognized for their service to the journal at the IPSERA conference. Associate Professor Anni-Kaisa Kähkönen was awarded the journal's Best Reviewer Award 2016, and was nominated as an Associate Editor of the journal. In addition, Professor Asta Salmi was nominated as a Senior Associate Editor of the journal.
