Vice Rector Jari Hämäläinen to represent Finland in the Euro-CASE innovation consortium

Technology Academy Finland TAF ( has appointed LUT Vice Rector for research and innovations Jari Hämäläinen as its representative in the Euro-CASE innovation consortium.

Euro-CASE (The European Council of Academies of Applied Sciences, Technologies and Engineering, is a European organisation with member academies from 22 countries. TAF is one of the members. The objective of Euro-CASE is to promote and utilise the content of its own platforms in the countries of the member academies, and thus advance dialogue on and awareness of the issues among decision-makers. Euro-CASE has four platforms: innovations, bio-economy, energy, and engineering education. They all coincide with LUT's activity: from innovations to education, from energy-related research to bio-economy as a part of the circular economy.
