Adeel Tariq

Dr. Tariq is an enthusiastic academic with considerable teaching and research experience. Dr. Tariq has done his MBA and Ph.D. from the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand. During his Ph.D., his research focus was on understanding green product and process innovation antecedents and consequences. Dr. Tariq represented AIT at several international forums and also holds the distinction to be a Ph.D. graduation speaker. 

Before joining LUT, Dr. Tariq worked as an Assistant professor at NUST Business School, National University of Sciences and Technology, Pakistan. Where Dr. Tariq worked as Innovation Head for AACSB accreditation, lead coordinator for Innovation and entrepreneurship competitions, and organized design thinking training in collaboration with Telenor Pakistan. Dr. Adeel Tariq has also experience in working with different start-ups and has enabled them to scale up or be a part of the leading incubators. 

Dr. Tariq has a strong interest in teaching Innovation Management, Managing Technology for Competitiveness, New Product Development and Commercialization, Product Policy & Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Design Thinking for Innovation. 

Dr. Tariq's research has appeared in leading journals such as technological forecasting and social change, the European journal of innovation management, and the journal of intellectual capital, among others.
