Biography

I am an interdisciplinary researcher interested in how digital technologies can contribute to a more sustainable future. My work brings together sustainable IT, organisational practices, sustainability governance, education and civic engagement. I have studied sustainability in software and computing education, persuasive technologies, human-AI interaction and circularity.

Across these areas, I use qualitative, quantitative and mixed methods to examine how organisations, educators and communities translate sustainability goals and regulatory requirements into working practices, learning activities, digital infrastructures and opportunities for participation.A central focus of my work is understanding how digital and AI-enabled technologies can support sustainability learning, responsible digitalisation, public engagement and lasting behavioural change.
