Conferment ceremony 23 May 2026
We are pleased to invite you to the eighth Ceremonial Conferment of Doctoral Degrees at the Lappeenranta–Lahti University of Technology LUT on 23 May 2026. Those who obtain their doctorate no later than in the graduation ceremony in December 2025 may take part.
In addition to conferring degrees on new doctoral graduates, the university will award honorary doctorates. An honorary doctorate is a title awarded by the university as a tribute to an especially accomplished person for outstanding achievements in science and the promotion of LUT University’s activities and objectives.
