As a graduate of LUT University’s Software Engineering Masters program, I've dedicated the last decade to bridging the gap between theoretical concepts and practical application. My career has consistently revolved around ensuring that innovative technologies are adopted effectively and responsibly. I’ve witnessed firsthand the frustrations and hurdles faced by software engineers and nontech software users, and I’m passionate about sharing my experience to help others navigate those challenges: whether it’s architecting a robust system, optimising developer workflows, or building something completely new.
Recently, I’ve been leading the development and deployment of production LM agent fleets, leveraging agent systems like Hermes from Nous Research. This has allowed me to delve deep into the practical considerations of agent reliability, security, privacy, concurrency and governance, areas where I’ve personally encountered and solved many of the issues that early adopters face. I'm excited to mentor students, and I'm particularly enthusiastic about demonstrating AI systems in action to spark their interest and understanding. My goal is to share my insights on building resilient agentic systems, understanding modern architectural practices, and navigating the evolving landscape of AI and related fields.
I believe in the power of hands-on learning and open-source collaboration. I’m prepared to guide mentees through problemsolving, best practices for software design, and how to approach complex projects with a clear roadmap and pragmatic execution. I'm also happy to share insights on navigating the professional landscape, building a strong technical portfolio, and preparing for the demands of the labor market.
I’m based in Germany and happy to work remotely across the EU. I enjoy contributing to open-source projects and staying updated on the latest advancements in language models and distributed ledger technologies. I understand the mentoring program focuses on supporting student career readiness and individual needs, and I’m committed to providing guidance and support within that framework.
