Collaboration between universities and the business sector holds great potential for new business approaches and innovations. Does the public sector enable that collaboration or are they putting up roadblocks? Keynote and panel in English.
Adversaries, allies, or something in between? How companies and universities should collaborate | Session 2
Universities and businesses are developing new ways of working together – or are they just relabelling old approaches? In this panel, the university and the industry sector will debate how universities and companies should move forward toward genuine growth and innovation. Keynote and panel in English.
Blossoming businesses – brains or brawn? | Session 3
When businesses are doing well, LUT is doing well. In addition to conducting research, LUT trains a large number of critically thinking, highly skilled professionals each year. Growth requires risk-taking and courage, which can be taught. The panellists will discuss current talent needs and the university's role in developing that talent. Keynote and panel in English.

How are business and research changing the world, and how are research and education improving business? The event presents insights by LUT and its numerous partners and a wide range of collaboration forms.
Collaboration cases are divided into four main themes following LUT University's strategic focus areas: planetary resources, business and society, digital revolution, and energy transition.
