Hi, I’m Dr. Pia Hautamäki, and I’m passionate about inspiring more people to enjoy working with customers through sales.
B2B sales plays a central role in business growth, yet it is still often misunderstood, and perceived through an outdated lens. In my work as a thought leader in business-to-business sales, I strive to increase awareness and understanding of what professional B2B selling truly entails.
One of my goals is to encourage more professionals in expert roles to get excited about sales! I have the privilege of advancing this mission as an Assistant Professor and Docent at LUT University, through research as well as in our Master’s and Doctoral programs in B2B strategic sales.
In addition to my national work, I serve as President of the Global Sales Science Institute (GSSI), where I promote sales research and education on an international scale.
