Tuition fees apply to students from non-EU/EEA countries and Switzerland who are admitted to English-taught bachelor's or master's degree programmes.
Exceptions apply to students admitted to EU-funded Erasmus Mundus programmes and to holders of certain residence permits issued by the Finnish Immigration Service.
The rules governing tuition fee liability and exemptions were updated on 1 December 2024 following amendments to the Universities Act. This page provides information based on the current legislation.
