The Bachelor's Programme in Digital Business leads to the degree of Bachelor of Science in Economics and Business Administration, B.Sc. (Econ. & Bus. Admin.), which is 180 ECTS credits.

We strongly encourage you to include an international exchange period in your degree, taking advantage of LUT’s extensive partner network. For students with international degrees, the studies enable altogether 20 ECTS credits of Finnish language studies that support developing your career in Finland.

What will you learn in the programme?

This programme gives you a wide range of skills and capabilities to successfully manage digital business in various contexts. 

After completing the programme, you will know about the theory and practice of digital business. You will be able to assess enablers and barriers for developing digital business, and to design action plans for continuous digital development. You will be able to demonstrate an understanding of digital sustainability in the context of business and will able to propose and reason solutions to digitalisation from a sustainability perspective.

The programme also includes a considerable amount of language and communication studies to support your future employment in Finland or internationally. You will graduate with highly relevant skills in theory application, communication, problem-solving, and reflection.

Most of your studies take place on the Lahti campus during weekdays. Occasional online courses, as well as courses combining online and on-campus teaching, provide variety and flexibility to your study methods and schedule.
